I was perusing NPR.org today and I came across this article about the Chinese results of the recent PISA exams. I’m surprised by the frankness of the principal interviewed and I wonder if I’ll see any of these changes implemented at the Hangzhou Foreign Language School.
I guess I’ll have to scrap my plan to just have the students memorize poetry all semester…
